Description of a flood warning system solution

Senken-Tech’s advanced early flood warning systems are tailored for small to medium-sized areas, combining a warning and notification system with multiple monitoring solutions. These systems can be easily controlled using Senken-Tech’s software applications, tailored for each individual system:
· Monitoring system – continuously observes hydro-meteorological conditions, including total rainfall and river water levels.
· Warning system with sirens – issues early warnings to populations in endangered areas, triggered by monitoring system data.
· Notification system – informs responsible personnel via voice or text messages about emergencies and simultaneously summons staff to emergency management meetings.

Monitorring System and Weather Station

The monitoring stations track precipitation and other meteorological data, while sensors detect dangerous rises in rivers, reservoirs, and sludge ponds. Battery-powered or solar-charged, the sensors provide years of reliable, continuous monitoring.

Control Center

1. Equipped with the Senken Tech control panel and software, the control centre automatically activates warnings during emergencies. The system is fully secured and backed up, and can also be initiated for other emergency or disaster situations.

The Electronic Sirens

Once critical sensor values are detected, SenkenTech electronic sirens automatically issue warning signals. They provide rapid alerts across all endangered areas and ensure clear voice communication for evacuation and rescue coordination. Each siren can be activated individually or in groups from the control centre, operating fully independently with optional solar power for continuous reliability.

Communication Infrastructure

The communications infrastructure enables instant connectivity between the control centre and all monitoring, warning, and notification components via digital or analogue radio, TCP/IP, GPRS, or short-range wireless links. It also supports seamless integration with third-party systems for full interoperability.

Responsible Persons/Responders

1. Notifies users of an emergency situation via phone call or text message.
2. Enables personnel to be urgently summoned to offices or dispatched to rescue operations.
